Darlene A. Fortier ORANGE- Darlene A. Carlile Fortier, 55, of 41 James Lane, died on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare- campus, Worcester, following an illness. Born on February 10, 1956 in Worcester, she was a daughter of Claud and Larraine Swantee Fortier. Darlene was married to Robert Fortier on October 25, 1983 and have enjoyed over 27 years together. Darlene at worked as a CNA at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol as well as for private duty. She loved to read, crocheting, video games, computers, and was an avid collector of magnets. Survivors include her husband, Robert Fortier of Orange; daughters, Melony Fortier of Athol and Floris Fortier of Orange; grandchildren, Sabastian, Veronica, Steven, Chad, and Natasha; mother and step father Larraine Carlile and Joseph Moffitt of Worcester; a brother, Lenny Carlile of Oklahoma; a sister, Linda Carlile of Oxford; and her two dogs, "Chewy" and "Izzy". Besides her father, Darlene was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Carlile. There are no calling hours. Funeral services and interment will be private.
