Edward J. Fisher

ATHOL- Edward J. Fisher, 60, of Cass Circle, died Friday, August 4, 2017 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.

Born in Gardner on January 26, 1957, a son of the late Charles E. and Exilda “Sadie” (Mailloux) Fisher of Phillipston.

A jack of all trades, Edward never met a problem he couldn’t solve, and had worked several jobs including 8 years at Duall Plastics in Athol.

Edward spent many hours in his workshop in the backyard, and loved watching the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and NASCAR. He also loved the ocean and getting out on the beaches.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Jacqueline E. Fisher of Athol; stepdaughter  and son-in-law, Tyara and Stephen Bonk of Orange; granddaughters, Amber and Abby Bonk of Orange; his siblings, Catherine and Ronald Johnson of Midland, TX, Geri and Eddie Foust of Lawrenceville, GA, Paul and Laurie Fisher of Phillipston, MA, Mary Fisher and Roger Laperriere of Phillipston, MA, Peter and Pam Fisher of Baldwinville, MA, Dave Fisher of Wilmington, NC, and Charlene and Robert LeMieur of Templeton, MA; an aunt, Harriet Fisher of Norfolk, MA; many nieces and nephews; sisters and brothers in law, Judy Dolfe of Merrimack, Wayne Corey of Orange, Linda and Steve Perla of Gardner and Janice Stacy of Athol.

Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by many aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10 -11:30 a.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 11th at Witty’s Funeral Home in Orange, with Rev.  Judy Jones of the Orange United Methodist Church officiating.
