I am so sorry to hear of the loss of my cousins, Mark and Amy LaMontagne's father. Mark and Amy, I'm glad you have some fond memories to cherish. May God comfort you both and all of your brothers, sisters and those who loved Gerry, too. You're in my prayers.

Dear Dad, I was your first born son and was given your own name at my birth “Robert Alfred D’Auteuil” named after your Father, my Grandfather. My sister Bernadette D’Auteuil , your first born child was named after your Mother, our Grandmother.

You will be missed and we will love you forever.

I remember my Father when I was 3 years old and did not meet him again until I was 23. He always impressed me as a hard working man and he gave me some good advice about being successful. It is amazing that we have a family of 11 other brothers and sisters. It would be great to communicate with all of you. My full brothers, Alfred and Darrell LaMontagne twins give their respects to our Father. The death of our Father reminds us to use death as an advisor and live life well. We should endeavor to respect each other. My condolences to our Father’s entire family.

I am sorry, I forgot to add, to all of the unnamed children of Gerry, may you have peace in the turmoil this has brought you. In those which have been mentioned, I am truly sorry, as you have had the pleasure of knowing this man and you will miss him immensely, yet you will one day see him again, on the day of Judgment. May we all rejoice that on that day, all families, will be brought together as the unity as intended with the love, peace and joy that is the reality of Truth. May God bless you and keep you all.

I AM DEEPLY SADDENED TO LEARN OF THE DEATH OF MY FATHER.I MET HIM LATE IN LIFE AND DID NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO KNOW HIM THE WAY I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO. THE TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER WILL BE IN MY HEART FOREVER. I WAS ONE OF HIS 8 SONS AND 3 DAUGHTERS WHO ALL HAD A SPECIAL PLACE FOR "GOOD TO GO GERRY" IN THEIR LIVES. SEE YA DOWN THE ROAD DAD. YOUR SON, GERARD MARK

I to was one of Dad's 8 children. Like my brother, I did not meet him until I was into adulthood. I still have the small jewelry box he gave me the first time we met, nearly 26 years ago. My heart is heavy and my sincere condolences go out to the entire family. God bless you Dad.
