Sandra M. Nosek

ORANGE- Sandra M. Nosek, 72, formerly of East Main Street, died on  Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Farren Care Center in Montague, following an illness.
Born on April 12, 1940 in South Royalston, she was a daughter of Adolph I. and Elizabeth (Smith) Nosek.
Sandra started working at a young age at the Heywood Hospital in Gardner and worked there many years mainly in the kitchen and housekeeping before retiring.
She was previously married to Earl H. Bourbeau in 1959, and they had six children.
Sandra enjoyed her family, helping others, listening to music and having a good cup of coffee, as well as her cigarettes.
Sandra and her family were thankful for everyone at Farren Care Center who looked after her during her stay there.
Survivors include her children, Linda Chaplin and her husband, Jay, of Orange, Mark Bourbeau of Greenfield, Julie Bourbeau of Wendell, Timothy Bourbeau and Kelly Bourbeau, both of Greenfield; many grandchildren; sisters, Marlene Manca of Templeton and Charlotte Smart of Gardner; a brother, Adolph Nosek of Burlington, VT; and several nephews, and nieces.
Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by a son, Kirk Bourbeau, a sister, Kay Cosentino, and a brother, Billy Nosek.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening, September 10, 2012 from 6-7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday evening, September 10, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home in Orange, with the Rev. Dr. Megan Leary of the Orange Central Congregational Church officiating.
Interment will be private.
