Arthur H. Cleveland III
ORANGE- Arthur H. Cleveland III, 74, of Cheney Street, died early Thursday morning, June 14, 2018 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.
Born in Worcester on December 22, 1943, he was a son of Arthur H. Jr. and Barbara (Shea) Cleveland and grew up in Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in 1961.
In 1964, Arthur married Judy (Lincoln) and they have enjoyed 54 years together.
Arthur had worked for Precision Tool and Grinding for a number of years. He previously had worked at the former Union Twist Drill Company in Athol and McKenney’s Service Station in Orange.
Arthur loved time with his family and was the family reunion organizer. He had also enjoyed playing cards, NASCAR, playing the numbers and especially caring for his lawn.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Cleveland of Orange; his children, David Cleveland (Tisha) of Orange, Tammy Foley (Ronald) of Rochester, Vermont, James Cleveland of Orange, Thomas Cleveland (Robin) of Petersham and Timothy Cleveland (Shannon) of Athol; grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Daniel, Jamie, Kylie, Cody, Sydney, Molly, Bryce, Taylor, Jaydlyn, Holden, Dakota, Autumn and Mykenzie; great grandchildren, Lillian, Emily, Jaxxson, and Jacoby with another on the way; many nephews and nieces; sisters, Doris Billiel of Orange and Carol L’Heureux and her husband, Leo, of Templeton.
Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Bachelder.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
Funeral services and interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
