ORANGE- Cecelia “Tilli” Krlic, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 7, 2018.

Born in Kärnten, Austria on October 16, 1929 she married the love of her life, Musan Krlic, on August 6, 1945.  They brought their family to America in 1955 and settled in Orange, Massachusetts.

Tilli worked for many years at the coat factory formerly located on East Main Street in Orange, and then spent several years with L.S. Starrett Company.

Tilli was an avid gardener; she was known to be able to grow nearly anything.  Her home was lined with beautiful perennial gardens, and her family and neighbors were grateful recipients of the vegetables that she harvested each year and wine made from the grapes she grew herself.  Tilli was an exceptional cook, and always made sure that those visiting were well fed.

Tilli was known to take on household jobs of any size; no task was off limits and she took tremendous pride in her home.

Above all else, Tilli loved her family; she instilled her love for them in all she did.  Nothing made her happier than having her family gather at her home.  She took great joy in spending time with them, always making sure to give a final farewell wave from her porch when they left.  She will be truly missed. 

Tilli was predeceased by her husband, Musan Krlic, and granddaughter, Erin Pollard.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Swan of Bernardston, Elizabeth Porter (Paul) of Greenfield, and Ingrid Pollard (Walter) of Orange, grandchildren Eric Cole(Susan), Michael Swan, Katherine Seaman(Kurt), Andrew Pollard, Nicholas Pollard (Terry), Molly Porter and her fiancé, Zack Turner; and great grand children Leif and Duncan Cole.

At Tilli’s request, there will be no services. 

It was her wish that those who choose too, make a contribution in her memory to a charity of their choice.
