Charles R. Jackson
ORANGE- Charles R. “Tex” Jackson, 63, of East Main Street, died early Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare Campus in Worcester.
Born in Haskell, Texas on July 7, 1954, he was a son of the late Annette (Feaster) Jackson and grew up in Texas. He had lived in Orange for over 20 years.
Charles was a drywall contractor and had worked with his brother.
A devoted father who loved his children, Charles also enjoyed riding motorcycles, tattooing, auctions and tag sales. He was also an accomplished artist and enjoyed the role of playing Santa, going around to friends’ homes with children or at the American Legion.
Charles will be sadly missed by his children, Charlotte Faulkner of Texas, Leanne Jackson and Christopher Jackson, both of Orange; a grandson, Damian Faulkner; siblings, Barbara Jackson of Arizona, Linda McCrocklinof Oklahoma, Michael Turner, Kathy Turner and Mary Belanger, all of Texas; several nephews and nieces; and many friends.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 5 p.m., at the Athol American Legion, corner of Exchange Street and Pequoig Avenue, Athol.
