ORANGE- Edward F. "Skip" Decoteau, 72, of Evergreen Drive, died unexpectedly late Tuesday evening, March 6, 2018 at Athol Hospital after being stricken ill earlier at home.

Skip was born on August 2, 1945, a son of the late Edward J. and Helen T. (Jelley) Decoteau.

Skip was married to Kathryn "Kathy" (Polana), who he leaves behind.

Employed by the L. S. Starrett Company in Athol for a number of years before retiring.

He enjoyed hunting fishing and gun smithing.

Skip was predeceased by his father in 2007 and his mother in 2009.

There are no calling hours. Services and interment in Tully Cemetery, Orange, will be private.

Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
