Gary J. Imbriglio
ORANGE- Gary J. Imbriglio, 62, of Gay Street, died early Wednesday morning, October 24, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Born in Montague on March 30, 1956, Gary was a son of the late Dominic and Cecilia (Skorski) Imbriglio and grew up in Erving and graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in Orange with the class of 1974. While at Mahar, Gary excelled at football and track.
Gary worked at Erving Paper Mill since 1978, and took a medical disability a couple years ago. He served as union representative at the mill.
Gary enjoyed great times with his family and friends, especially on Cape Cod. He was an enthusiastic New England Patriots fan and had season tickets for over 35 years.
A member of the Wheelerville Community Club in Orange, Gary also was a member of the Franco-American Club in Athol. He was a former member of the Tully City Council Club.
Gary is survived by his siblings, Cheryl Mart (Ken) of Lyndonville, NY, Carmine Imbriglio of Orange, and Gail Ashes (Zachary) of Hardwick; a former sister in law, Jane Imbriglio of Athol; his life partner, Mary Woodard of Orange; several nephews and nieces; and many friends, as well as his beloved cat, “Bella”.
Gary was predeceased by both parents.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held on November 17, 2018 at the Wheeleville Community Club, 698 East Main Street, Orange, beginning at 1 p.m.
