John M. Paluk Sr.
ORANGE- John M. Paluk Sr., 64, of Sandrah Drive, died Sunday morning, January 7,2018 at home following an illness, with loved ones at his side.
Born in Indiana on January 19, 1953, he was a son of Theodore and Ruth J. (Bradshaw) Paluk and grew up in the Greendale section of Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational Trade School.
John was married to Melodie (Locke) on April 7, 1972.
An avid sportsman, John had enjoyed playing hockey and softball.
A master carpenter by trade, he had worked for himself most of his career before retiring.
John loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and playing a round of golf.
Survivors include his children, Jennifer Lawler and her husband, Terry, of South Carolina, Kristopher Paluk and his wife, Erin, of Petersham and Jamie Paluk and his wife, Amber, of Orange; grandchildren, Sierra, Dalton, Carly, Lilah, Haylee, Taylor, Lyndsey, Emily, and Matthew; his former wife who cared for him during his illness, Melodie Towne of Orange; a daughter in law, Mary Paluk of Orange; a brother, James Boudreau and his wife, Kristin, of Shrewsbury; a sister, Joanne Ducharme of Holden; step sister, Leanne Remillard of Worcester; and step brother, Christian Paluk of Worcester.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his son, John M. Paluk, on February 11, 2015.
Calling hours will be held Friday evening, January 12, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
There are no formal services.
Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
