John W. Connors

ORANGE- John W. “Jack” Connors, 70, of East Main Street, died Friday evening, November 10, 2017 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.

Born in Waltham on May 15, 1947, he was a son of the late John F. and Helen (Miles) Connors and grew up in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1965. He later attended Framingham State College.

On August 2, 1969, Jack married Marcia A. (Mulholland) and have enjoyed over 48 years of marriage.

Employed by Stop and Shop as a manager for many years, Jack retired in 2009.  He previously had worked for Brooks Drug Company.

Jack loved music of all kinds and also enjoyed sports, especially all the Boston teams.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Marcia Connors of Orange; a daughter, Ann Cedrone and her husband, Anthony, of White Plains, New York; and two grandchildren, Louis Cedrone and Caitlin Cedrone.

A calling hour will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, 19 Congress Street, Orange, with Fr. Shaun O’Connor officiating.

Interment will follow in South Cemetery, Orange.

Flowers should be omitted and donations in Jack’s name can be made to donor’s choice.
