Joseph M. Castagnaro
ATHOL- Joseph M. “Joe” Castagnaro, 32, of Beacon Street, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
Born in Greenfield, he was a son of Mary Castagnaro and grew up in Orange and earned his GED from Greenfield Community College.
Joe had worked for Orange Saws, Seaman Paper in Orange, and also restoration construction on houses.
Joe had played Little League, basketball and excelled in baseball. He enjoyed skateboarding, wrestling and using his Play Station 4.
A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his heartbroken mother, Mary Castagnaro of Athol; loving siblings, Angela Castagnaro of Orange, David Karras of Athol and Maria Brown of Athol; step father, Randy Brown of Athol; several nephews and nieces; his girlfriend, Elizabeth Brouillet of Orange; a brother in law, Bill Dennis of Orange; and many good friends.
Calling hours will be held February 24, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
There are no formal services.
Donations are suggested to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
