ORANGE- Kathleen A. “Kathy” (Frye) Mosher, 74, of Holtshire Road, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at Athol Hospital.

Born in Winchendon on May 5, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Bradley L. and Winnifred H. (Taylor) Frye and grew up in Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in 1962.

In 1965, Kathy married Jeffrey Mosher and they have enjoyed over 53 years of marriage.

Kathy was a receptionist for Dr. Yogendra Thaker in Athol. She was previously the manager of Horrigan’s Cleaners in Orange for a number of years and had also worked for Heywood Hospital and Dr. Robert Knight.

An enthusiastic “fiber arts” crafter, Kathy loved sewing and knitting, as well as crafts of all kinds. However, Kathy’s most enjoyment came from being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Mosher of Orange; her children, Linda Laffond of Fitzwilliam, NH, Michael Mosher of Phillipston and Mark Mosher and his wife, Heidi, of Athol; grandchildren, Kayla Coffman, Bryce Mosher, Makenzie Mosher, and Camden Mosher; brothers, David Frye and his wife, Dorothy, of Orange, and James Frye of Port St. Lucie, FL; a sister, Sally Davis of Orange; and many nephews and nieces.

Kathy was predeceased by her father in 1981, her mother in 2007, a son, Robert Mosher in 1983, and brothers, Stephen Frye in 2015 and John Frye in1945.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral services and interment in Holtshire Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
