Kenneth D. Carville
WENDELL DEPOT- Kenneth D. “Ken” Carville, 82, of Kentfield Road, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.
Born in Burlington, Vermont on August 2, 1936, he was a son of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Bissette) Carville and grew up in Worcester.
Ken enlisted into the United States Army on November 17, 1955 and served during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged on October 1, 1957.
On November 14, 1982, he married Rosalie (Renault) and have enjoyed close to 36 years of marriage, with 31 years at their home in Wendell Depot.
Most of Ken’s working career was as a self employed finish carpenter who did beautiful work. He had also worked a the L. S. Starrett Company in Athol several years as well as with is father in Worcester at Yankee Food Products.
Ken was a sky diving enthusiast and also enjoyed archery.
He was a member of the Wheelerville Community Club and the Orange American Legion.
Ken leaves his loving wife, Rosalie Carville of Wendell Depot; children, Nadine McCabe of Runaway Bay, Texas, Donna Davis of Gunbarrel, Texas, Kenneth Carville and Kim Carville, both of Massachusetts; a sister, Carol Sandberg of Auburn; several grandchildren; step sons William Paradise of Atlanta, Georgia and Mark Paradise of Scituate; a step daughter, Beth Heneghan of Scituate; and several nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Carville, and daughters Terri Carville and Lynda Carville, as well as a brother, Gary Carville.
There are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 6, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, 19 Congress Street, Orange, with Fr. Shaun O’Connor officiating.
Interment will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
