ATHOL- Kevin T. Nelson, 27, of South Athol Road, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Athol Hospital.

Born in Greenfield on January 4, 1991, he was a son of Timothy J. Nelson and Sally A.  Amadon Pratt and grew up in Phillipston and attended Naragansett Regional School and earned his GED.

Kevin had worked for Adams Farm in Athol and MDI in Leominster.

He enjoyed playing pool with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Timothy Nelson of Athol and Sally Pratt of Royalston; sisters, Cassundra Nelson of Athol and Sarah Couture of Baldwinville; paternal grandmother, Angelina Nelson of Athol; nephews and nieces, Mason, Zoey, Jamie, Kaylee, and Isabella; aunts and uncles; cousins; and many friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Frank Nelson, and maternal grandparents, Clayton and Joan (Hyatt) Holmes.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

Words of remembrance will be offered at 11 a.m.at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Doe Valley Cemetery in Athol.

After the burial, a reception will be held a the Royalston Fish & Gun Club, 49 Main Road, Phillipston.
