Kyle G. Flood ORANGE- Kyle G. Flood, 18, of 100 Horton Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, February 11, 2007 at home after being stricken ill. Born on December 13, 1988 in Greenfield, he was a son of David T. and Victoria L. Hamilton Flood and grew up in Orange. Kyle was currently a Senior at the Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in Orange. While at Mahar, Kyle enjoyed sports and played on the football team, which he was a Captain of, and on the track team. He also enjoyed acting in the school's programs as well as helping out others in the school community. He served on the Mahar Student Council and had been an alter server at St. Mary's Church in Orange for 9 years. Kyle also was a member of the Church Youth Group and had served as President. Kyle's greatest love was being an independent film maker and had made 4 short movies. Kyle lived life to the fullest and touched many during his young life and will be missed dearly and his family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and asks that you keep Kyle in your hearts. Besides his parents, David and Victoria Flood of Orange, Kyle is survived by a brother, Cory Flood of Orange; paternal grandparents, George and Florence Flood of Worcester; a maternal grandmother, Mary Hamilton of Auburn; his aunts and uncles, Theresa Hamilton of Auburn, Francis Ward of Auburn, Charles and Pamela Hamilton of Leicester, Anthony and Dianna Hamilton of Wales, Robert and LeeAnn Flood of Maine, Karen and Billy Chisholm of North Brookfield, and Diane and Bill Woodis of North Brookfield; many cousins; and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, February 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress Street, Orange, at 10:00AM. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in South Cemetery, Orange. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening, February 15, 2007 at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, from 5:30-8:30PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mahar Athletic Department- Bleacher Fund, c/o Ralph C. Mahar Regional School, South Main Street, Orange, MA 01364.
