Louise E. Golosh
ERVING- Louise E. (Woodbury) Golosh, 81, of Mountain Road, died Saturday evening, September 29, 2018 at Buckley Healthcare Center in Greenfield with family at her side.
Born in Erving on July 25, 1937, she was a daughter of Lloyd and Monetta (Masterson) Woodbury and grew up in Erving.
On June 15, 1957, Louise married James T. Golosh and enjoyed 46 years before his death on April 13, 2003.
Louise was employed by Franklin Medical center in Greenfield for over 30 years before retiring and had previously worked at the B&G Garment Shop in Orange.
Very active in the Erving Congregational Church, Louise also was an active member and supporter of the Erving Senior Center and helped to see a new center built.
Louise loved her family immensely and enjoyed having many caring and loving friends and was a social butterfly that pulled everyone together.
She enjoyed bingo, word puzzles, jig saw puzzles and crocheting. Louise had enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Sno-Snoopers Club.
The family is thankful and grateful for the outstanding and loving care Louise received at Buckley, especially Ryan, Sam, Jillian, Julie and Jen.
Louise is survived by her son, Michael James Golosh (Diana) of Manispee, MI; a daughter, Rhonda Joyce Pease (Bill) of Erving; three grandchildren, Angel Pease of Brattleboro, VT, Amber Pease and Cody Pease, both of Erving; great grandchildren, Jordan Rogers of Erving, Abigail Parker of Brattleboro, VT, and Jamie Thayer of Erving; her siblings, Joyce Duguay of Sanborn, NH, Lloyd Woodbury of Illinois, Judith Anderson of Wendell Depot, and Richard Woodbury of Maine; several nephews and nieces; as well as many friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Louise was predeceased by a sister, May Anderson.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, October 6th at 10 a.m. at the Erving Congregational Church, with Rev. Victor Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Erving Center Cemetery.
