GARDNER- Michael J. Vanderhoof, 55, of Peabody Street died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner after being stricken ill earlier.

Michael was born in New Hampshire on July 31, 1962, a son of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Draleau) Vanderhoof.

Michael worked in construction for many years.

Family meant a lot to Michael and he enjoyed his time with all of them whether just hanging out, holidays or summer bar-b-ques. Michael also enjoyed working on cars.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Taylor of Gardner; a sister, Patricia Labonte of Athol; his girlfriend of 17 years, Cindy Boudreau, of Gardner; a son, Zane Malcolm; and many cousins

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.

Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
