Rose M. Allison

ORANGE- Rose M. (Fisher)(Fitch) Allison, 84, formerly of Orange, died Monday, May 29, 2017 in Angier, North Carolina at the home of Max and Christy Rouse.
Born in Northfield, MA on December 12, 1932, the daughter of Arthur O. Fisher Sr. and Irene G. (Masterson) Fisher. Rose was educated in Northfield Schools.
Rose was first married to John R. Fitch and they lived in Mechanicville, NY area for 29 years before returning to Orange.
Employed at a grocery store for several years , Rose later became a nanny and worked for several families in private homes.
Rose had been a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Orange and had enjoyed pioneering and spreading the word of the Bible for over 60 years, bring 30 people to the truth.
Rose leaves a daughter, Rebecca Ann Marquez and her husband, Isaiah Florez Marquez, and grandson, Logan John Marquez, of BunnLevel, NY.; another daughter, Sharon May Fitch and granddaughter Courtney Lynn Fitch of Clifton Park, NY; a sister, Delores Boom of Mechanicville, NY  and another sister, Christine Ewell and her husband, David Ewell, of Wendell, MA; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rose was predeceased by her first husband, John Fitch, on October 22, 1996 and her second husband, Joe Allison, on March 30, 2011; a brother Arthur O. Fisher Jr. on May 11, 1994; and a sister, Joan Winship on April 4, 2010.
Rose enjoyed her family, friends, gardening (especially her rose bushes), Bible studies, music, painting and traveling when she was able. Her favorite things to do were playing checkers and Uno with Logan and Courtney, and also eating out at the Family Hibachi.
A memorial service was held on June 10th at the Kingdom Hall in Angier, NC.
There will be a memorial service held in Orange, MA at Kingdom Hall on Daniel Shays Highway at a later date and time to be announced.
