Theresa M. Daskevich

ATHOL- Theresa M. (Hansen) Daskevich, 44, of Harvard Avenue, died Thursday evening, May 11, 2017 at Fitchburg Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fitchburg.
Born on August 1, 1972 in Charleston, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Aage Hans II and Mary E. (Gorman) Hansen and grew up in Arizona and graduated from high school there.
On October 27, 2001, Theresa married Mitchell D. “Mitch” Daskevich and they have enjoyed over 15 years of marriage.
Theresa was the owner of Scarborough Cottage on New Athol Road, and then Cherry Street,  in Orange. She also was a certified bartender.
A non-denominational minister, Theresa was a Pagan who followed the rituals.
Theresa had gone to school to study the use of herbs, which led her to assist people in choosing proper herbs for wellness and health. She also enjoyed beading and gardening.
A very loving and compassionate person, Theresa will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Mitch Daskevich of Athol; step daughter, Allison Funderburg and her husband, William, and their children, Tristen and Gabriel, as well as another step daughter, Kristen Daskevich; a brother Aage III of Arizona; step sister, Raine Hansen of Nevada; a step brother, Charles Hansen of Texas; an aunt, Violette Baskerville of Illinois; a grandmother, Ellen (Stolt) Allen of Missouri;  a niece; cousin Mathew Baskerville of Illinois; step mother, Lorraine Hansen of Arizona; along with many friends.
There are no calling hours or services.
The family asks that you light a candle in her honor and memory.
