WORCESTER- Alfred J. "Freddy" Blaisdell, 51, of Clarendon Street, died on July 23, 2021 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston from injuries sustained from a house fire which also resulted in the loss of his beloved dog of 13 years of age, "Izzy".
Freddy was born in Leominster on January 3, 1970, the son of Daniel Blaisdell and Alfreda "Freda" (Saulnier). He lived in Leominster, moved to Pennsylvania and then back to Massachusetts in Marlborough, graduating from Marlborough High School in 1988.
Freddy was a great athlete and enjoyed football and wrestling. He was a season ticket holder for the New England Patriots for over 20 years and enjoyed going with his brother and best friend, Danny. Freddy also enjoyed golfing.
The life of the party and family get-together, Freddy will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
A self employed general contractor and hardwood floor installer, Freddy owned and operated Superior Hardwood for over 30 years.
Freddy his survived by the loves of his life, his daughters Sydney Blaisdell of Worcester and Gabrielle Blaisdell of Leominster; the mother of his children, Jennifer Blaisdell of Leominster; his loving mother, Alfred a Saulnier and her partner, Roy Howard, of Orange; a sister, Joanne Sederack and her husband, Bryan, of Rhode Island; brothers, Daniel Blaisdell of Millbury and Jean-Guy LeBlanc and his fiancee, Jennifer, of Gardner; step brother, Jay Blaisdell of Marlborough; step sister, Terri Hayden of Marlborough; and ten nephews and nieces that loved their uncle deeply; as well as aunts and uncles that loved him; and many caring friends.
Freddy was predeceased by his father.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, followed by a time of remembrances at 4 p.m.
A celebration of life will follow from 5-7 p.m., at the Tully Boiler Room and Grill, 245 Tully Road, Orange.
