BERNARDSTON- Allan R. Mason, 89, of Northfield Road, died peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Franklin on October 19, 1931, he was the son of Jeddie J. and Iva M. (Bonnett) Mason

Allan had been married to June C. (Pierce).

Allan was employed by American Optical for a number of years before retiring.

Allan is survived by his daughter, with whom he was living with, Lori Downing and her husband, Geoffrey Owen Downing, sons Wesley Edgar Mason and David Allan Mason; his grandchildren, Andria Lynn Froment, Amberlee Downing, Tasha Critchfield, Geoffrey Owen Downing, Jessica Mason Ayers, Crystal Mason, Mariah Mason, and Levi Mason. Allan also leaves great grandchildren, Camden James Amidon, Makayla Ann Froment, Marissa Ann, Alexia Ann, Haillee Nicole Downing, Avah Plumb, Nicole Plumb, Savannah Plumb, Jean Plumb, Skylar Allan Plumb, Gage Owen Amidon, Talon Ryan Froment, Jacob Orkins, and Dominik Downinig,

Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by a son, James Allan Mason.

There are no calling hours or services at this time.
