SUDBURY- Ann Catherine Stevenson of Harwich, MA and more recently Sudbury, MA, passed away on Labor Day, September 5, 2022 following a brief and courageous battle with brain cancer. She was 57.
She was surrounded by her biggest joy and greatest accomplishment in life, her three beautiful devoted children, Sam Orloff of Quincy, and Maggie and Isabelle O’Donnell of Harwich.
Anne also leaves her parents, John and Margaret Stevenson of Orange; her brother, John Stevenson of Pembroke, her brother, Ben Stevenson and his wife, Jane, of Sudbury, her sister Emily (Stevenson) Walger and her husband, Mike, of Swampscott; and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
Anne never stopped pursuing her love of knowledge. She was a life-long student and loved to learn from the world around her. She graduated from Ralph C. Mahar High School in Orange, Oberlin College, and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Most of all Anne loved her family, who all loved her and will miss her terribly. Always a gifted runner, she won many races, but this is a finish line we wish she hadn’t reached so soon.
Services will be held at Ascension Parish in Sudbury ,MA on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11am, followed by an open house reception at 179 Mossman Road in Sudbury.
