ATHOL- Barbara A. McCauley, 74, of Sanders Street, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Athol Hospital.
Born in Holden on December 27, 1949, she was the daughter of Donald and Ruth (O’Donnell) McCauley and grew up in Barre, graduating from Barre High School in 1967.
In October of 1991, Barbara married Joseph Farley Jr. and they have enjoyed over 32 years of marriage.
Barbara had worked for the E.P. Wine Co. in Barre for many years before retiring. She previously had worked for Resource Control of Barre.
An avid reader, Barbara also enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph Fleming Jr. of Athol; a son, Brian Burns of Boston; her sisters, Tina Tolman of Orange, Laurie Rivers of Petersham, Sandra McCauley of Holden and Judy Rishowski of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces.
There are no calling hours or services at this time.
