Benjamin H. Shaw

WARWICK- Benjamin Harry Shaw of Warwick unexpectedly passed away surrounded by his beloved brother John’s family Friday November 8th at St. Vincent’s hospital.

The youngest in a family of 7, Ben has always stepped up and cared deeply for his siblings and their families. Although Ben never had any children of his own, he took many under his wing over the years, adding them to the extended Shaw family. He was the best uncle and friend, often bringing thoughtful gifts, sending inspirational messages to let you know he was thinking of you.

Ben attended Pioneer Valley Regional High School in Northfield, graduating in 1976. After graduating, he moved into law enforcement and was on the police force in Mason NH, eventually moving into security before finally pursuing his passion of buying and selling cars.

A car enthusiast, Ben owned many cars over the years, most proudly his collection of Mustangs and his Marauder. He loved the beauty of Nature, especially the White Mountains, spending time with family and friends, working on cars, going out for breakfast, and attending car shows.

Ben was predeceased by Walter, his father, beloved mother Anna, brothers Walter, John & James, and sisters Sue & Emily and nephew Ray.

He leaves behind his cherished family; sister Carolyn Dushaney; nephew Nelson & wife Laura and their children; sister in law Judy; nephew Rob & wife Kelly and their children; niece Sandi & husband Ed; niece Laura & partner Chris; niece Kate and her children; nephew David & and wife Carole and their children; nephew Richard and his children;  niece Christine and her children; and many close friends including Austin & Lanie Deveneau,  Brad & Jess  Matthews, Mel Thomas, Richard & Donna Astrella and Lorne & Ann Petrain.

There will be a private graveside service for family.

There will be celebration of life for all to attend on January 19, 2025  at 1p.m., at the Orange  American Legion, 40 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange.
