Beverly M. Serre

ROYALSTON- Beverly M. ( Lefrancois) Serre, 76, passed away at Baldwinville Nursing Home May 14, 2018.

Beverly was the daughter of Harvey and Ethel Lefrancois and wife of Ralph A. Serre, who passed away in 2016.

Beverly was raised in Orange and attended Ralph C. Mahar Regional School. Beveryly had worked at Cass Games and Athol Memorial Hospital for 25 years as a CNA.

Beverly enjoyed her family and friends. She also loved York Beach, Maine, going on mystery rides and eating out with her inlaws. She especially loved spending time with her pet, “Max”.

Beverly is survived by her loving son, Lonny Serre, of Royalston; three granddaughters and their significant others, Abigal Serre (Joseph Chiasson), Natasha Serre (Kevin Rice) and Kasey Johnston (Mary Sharpe); two great grandsons, Nicolas Serre and Joey Chiasson; many nieces and nephews; and in-laws, Shirley and David Putney of Royalston.

Besides her parents and husband, Beverly was predeceased by three brothers, Harvey Lefrancois, Raymond Lefrancois and Leonard Lefrancois.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday morning, May 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Lawrence Brook Cemetery, South Royalston Road (Route 68), Royalston, with Rev. Tim Oja of the Royalston First and Second Congregational Churches officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Town of Athol, memo- North Quabbin Animal Shelter, c/o Athol Police Department, 280 Exchange Street, Athol, MA 01331.
