Brenda J. Marden Obituary

ATHOL- Brenda J. Marden, 50, formerly of Gibson Drive, died on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Born in Van Nuys, California on March 21, 1974, she was the daughter of Herbert P. and Carol (Flagg) Marden and lived in California until age 5 and then moved to the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts where she graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in 1992.

Following high school, Brenda worked various jobs and enjoyed meeting people.

Brenda loved listening to music as well as spending hours writing.

Survivors include her mother, Carol Marden-Whittier of Orange; sisters, Lisa Marden and her partner George LaPointe, of Petersham and Kimberly Bergeron and her husband Adam, of Kennebunk, Maine; brothers, Chris Marden and his wife, Aimee, of Wendell and James Marden and his wife, Brenda, of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Kayla Marden, Joseph Marshall, Darien Marden, Brendan Bergeron, Sophie Bergeron, Grayson Bergeron, and Austin Bergeron; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She also leaves her long time friend and companion Greggory McBride of Athol.

Brenda was predeceased by her father in 2013.

There are no calling hours.

Services for the family will be private.
