Brian Stevens Obituary

PHILLIPSTON- Our brother Brian Stevens received his wings on May 4th and has entered heaven to be with his beloved parents Laura and Harry Stevens and his girlfriend Gail and other loved ones.

Brian was born April 16, 1957 and grew up on West Main Street in Orange.

He leaves behind his siblings Sharon(Rich), Gary(Sharon), April, Jay(Cathy), Ellen(Chan), Carlton(Mary), Alan(Tilda) and many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved deeply!  Brian also leaves 'his Dee Dee' who was his caretaker that he loved so much and with whom he had resided with for 20 plus years along with his friend Justin.

Brian made many friends at IPB, Interface Precision Benchworks of Orange where he worked and the Adult Day Health center in Athol.

Brian always had a big smile and hug for anyone he met.  Brian loved music and dancing and his favorite songs were “You Light up My Life”, which he sang at a few weddings and “La Bamba.” Elvis was one of his idols and he had a few birthday parties with an Elvis theme that he enjoyed immensely.

He loved watching wrestling and had the chance to see Hulk Hogan, one of his favorite wrestlers in person a few times. He would say he wanted to wrestle with someone but usually would back down and smile and say “no, no that's OK”. He was a very gentle soul who loved to pretend to be tough. Brian also liked the old TV series Dark Shadows and he knew all the words to many of the episodes.  He also enjoyed the Three Stooges which he watched over and over again. Oh the stories we could all tell of Brian and his antics!! He could be a real character!

Brian participated in Special Olympics a few times and won some medals.  Besides music and dancing, he enjoyed playing cards, food, movies, amusement parks, especially roller coasters when he was younger. He was always ready to have fun!

Dear Brian, also known lovingly as “B,” we will miss you but we will see you again!  RIP and give mom and dad a big hug from all of us.
