ATHOL- Brian L. Dorow, 48, of Chestnut Hill Avenue, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, August 29, 2021 at home after being stricken ill.
Born in Athol on January 11, 1973, he was the son of Arthur L. and Joyce A. (Patterson) Dorow and grew up and attended Athol school and earned his GED from Greenfield Community College. He later attended the Baran Institute in Windsor, Connecticut.
Brian was baptized at Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol.
Employed by Hi-De Liners in Orange for many years, he also enjoyed working on trucks and had worked at the Mobil station on Main Street downtown.
Brian enjoyed his dirt bikes, four wheelers and mudding in his truck.
Brian is survived by his parents, Arthur and Joyce Dorow of Athol; a sister, Sandra Dorow of Athol; a niece, Kaylie Dorow of Athol; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on September 19, 2021 from 12- 4 p.m. at the Orange American Legion, 40 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange.
A graveside service will be held on September 20, 2021 at 2 p.m., in South Cemetery, 585 South Main Street, Orange.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Witty’s Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
