ATHOL- Carol Miriam Ouellette,74, of Athol, MA, went home to her Lord and Savior on 10/23/23 after a long struggle with congestive heart failure.
Carol was a strong believer in Christ. Her religion and faith were an important part of her life. Carol’s biggest and proudest achievements in life were her children all of whom she shared a very close special bond. Carol was adored by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carol was a passionate giver, listener, and friend to many. Carol always had a smile and warm hello for whomever she encountered. Carol loved her kitties, taking rides to Vermont and New Hampshire where she had strong family history that she loved to share with her family, often stopping to clean cemetery plots and pointing out homes of her grandparents and great grandparents and sharing stories of her memories. She was a caregiver to the late Reverend Gordon Tate. After his passing, she was caregiver to the late Don “Spin” Ainsworth.
Carol was born in Brattleboro, VT to William and Constance (Cobleigh) Hall.
Carol leaves behind a sister, Cynthia Jenkins of Petersham; four children, Heide Levasseur (Andy) of East Brookfield, Thomas Ouellette (Karina) of Charlton, Jennifer Berry (John) of Petersham and Sara Beyeler of Holliston. She also leaves six grandchildren, David Lussier, Ethan Levasseur, Brittany (Heck) Adams, Coty Iozzo, Haylee Ouellette, and Jordyn Berry. She also leaves 5 step grandchildren, Jeanna Marion, Todd Levasseur, Valarie Queirolo, Hillary Queirolo, and Jason Lareau; three great grandchildren, John (Jack) Adams, Weston Adams and Jackson Lussier; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the First Congregational Parish, Unitarian Church, 1 Common Street, Petersham.
Interment will follow in West Road Cemetery, Petersham.
