Cathy Jo Budry

GARDNER- Cathy Jo Budry, 50, of Gardner and Athol, died suddenly on June 12, 2023 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Campus in Worcester.

Cathy was born and raised in Royalston, MA.

Cathy loved spending time with her family, snuggling her sloths, and just enjoying every moment she had here.

She leaves behind her father, Bruce Fernet; her step father, William Joyner; step mother Jackie Fernet; brothers, Eddie Gay, Phillip Gay, and Christopher Joyner; a sister, Cynthia Joyner; her husband of 34 years, Todd Budry; her two children, daughter Mikayla Budry and her fiancé Teddy Klash, and son, Randy Shaw Jr. and his fiancée Tiffany Wallace; and two beautiful grandchildren, Elliana Santiago and Skylar Wallace.

Cathy was predeceased by her mother Gayle (Anderson) Joyner and a brother, Roger Fernet.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. at Witty’s Funerl Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

A celebration of life will follow at the Orange American Legion, 40 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange, from 5-9 p.m.    All are welcome.
