Cicely M. Sawin

TURNERS FALLS- Cicely M. Sawin, 48, of J Street, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield following an illness.

Born in Greenfield on February 13, 1977, she was the daughter of Larry and Sharon (Reed) Sawin and grew up in Athol, graduating from Athol High School in 1995.

Cicely had worked for Tool Town Pizza for many years.

An avid artist, she especially enjoyed drawing and coloring and loved socializing with everyone.

Cicely is survived by her mother, Sharon Sawin, of Orange; a son, John Emery of Orange; and many friends.

Cicely was predeceased by her father in 2007.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of life in May at Lake Ellis in Athol will be announced at a later date and time.

Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is assisting the family.
