ORANGE- Clara (Carver) Fraser was born May 1, 1933, and passed away peacefully at Day Brook Village in Holyoke, MA on April 3, 2023. She was a resident of Orange, MA.
Clara had several hobbies including gardening, thrifting, especially at Rietta Ranch Flea Market. Collecting dolls, cleaning and repairing used dolls and donating them back to Hazel’s store. She was a member of the Eastern Star Home and the Community Church of North Orange and Tully. She loved history, art, and supported art and music classes within the local elementary schools. Clara looked forward to holidays and family gatherings, as family was most important to her. She took pride in being a grandmother above all.
Clara often spoke of her favorite travel destinations. She had made many memories with her husband Bill, in places such as Bermuda, Italy, and San Francisco. She also spent several summers with her family in Cranberry Lake, New York.
At home, Clara would often spend days walking her beloved dogs, Annabelle and Jock, treating herself to a pancake or donut from Johnson’s Farm, or pop by her sons house for a visit with her granddaughters. Clara spent the last years of her life being cared for at Day Brook Village. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her sons Gene and Peter, daughters in law Shelley and Jin, granddaughters Kaitlyn, Alexandra, Emma and Elizabeth, and her dogs Annabelle and Jock.
