Connell E. Dahl Sr.

ORANGE- Connell E. Dahl Sr., 55, of Chase Street, died unexpectedly in his sleep on February 26, 2026 at home.

Born in Ocean Port, New Jersey on December 20, 1970, he was the son of James D. and Robert Songer Dahl and attended Orange and Amherst schools.

Connell was married to Amy M. (Casner), who died on August 13, 2020.

A Residential Counselor for over ten years, Connell had also worked at PEXCO in Athol, Wal-Mart and drove a truck.

Connell enjoyed video games, sumo wrestling, reading and martial arts. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.

Survivors include his sons, Connell Dahl Jr. and Kyle Dahl, both of Orange, and Corey Dahl of Winchendon; eleven grandchildren; a sister, Keyes Clemmer of New York; and a brother, Steve Dahl of Athol.

Besides his wife, Connell was predeceased by his father on November 7, 2001 and by his mother on December 29, 2010.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time and date to be announced.

Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
