LEOMINSTER- Curtis Alan Ruby, 55, of Leominster gained his wings on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
Born on September 15, 1966 in Greenfield, he was the son of William and Dorothy Ruby and grew up in Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional in 1985.
Curtis leaves behind his two daughters, Alyssa Ruby of Portland, Maine and Caitlin Ruby of Leominster; a grandson, Ezequiel Fidel of Portland, Maine; his father, William Ruby of Orange; a sister, Cheryl Calcari (Chris) of Orange; and a nephew, Blayne Calcari (Caitlin) of Orange.
Curtis was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy, in 2014.
Curtis had a passion for sports. He watched all the Red Sox games, traveled to watch his youngest daughter play hockey and softball. He was also always at the Leominster Lassie League field as he was president of the league.
He was a hard worker and was employed at High Country Workwear.

He will be missed by his family, friends, and everyone who crossed his path.

A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held on November 7, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. at the Athol American Legion, corner of Exchange Street and Pequoig Avenue, Athol.
Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
