Diane M. (Deschane) Hemingway

ORANGE- Diane M. (Deschaine) Hemingway, 71, of West Main Street, died on Monday, June 2, 2025 at home after being stricken ill.

Born in Madawaska, Maine, she was the daughter of Roland and Alma (Sirois) Deschane.

In 1994, she married William Hemingway Sr. and they have enjoyed over 36 years together until his death on March 10, 2023

Diane had worked several years at the Athol Table Company.

A devoted grandmother, she loved her time with the grandchildren. Diane also enjoyed the outdoors and going to the ocean.

Survivors include her children, Paula Colon and her husband, Paul, of Orange, Ann Hemingway of Orange and William Hemingway Jr. and wife Kimberly of Orange; grandchildren, Ashley Peirce and her husband Derek of Athol, Krista Cloukey and her husband, Michael, of Warwick, Amber Colon and Zac Little  of Danvers, Aaron Hemingway and Rachel Dorow, both of Orange, William Hemingway III  and Lylah Hemingway of Athol; great grandchildren, Kaleb Peirce, ;Alyvia Cloukey; and Hunter Cloukey. She also leaves her sisters, Joan Jackson of Fredericksburg, VA, Tina Deschane of Portland, ME and Charlene Deschane of New Brunswick, Canada; and brothers, Bob Deschane of Madawaska, ME and Robert Deschane of Maine; along with several nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents and husband, Diane was predeceased by a daughter, Jenna Hemingway and a sister, Lorraine Deschane.

There are no calling hours or services.

Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
