ATHOL- Donald E. Asselin, 79, of Linden Park, died on Sunday evening, November 6, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Gardner on November 27, 1942, he was the son of Ernest A. and Ada L. (Progen) Asselin.
Donald served in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged.
In 1963, he married Phyllis (Budzinski).
Donald owned and operated Fire Pro-Tec, in Templeton, for many years.
Don is survived by his wife Phyllis Asselin, of Gardner; his son, Philip Asselin and his wife, Kristine, of Littleton; and granddaughter, Katherine. He also leaves a brother and sister-in-law, Robert J. and Jan Asselin of Topeka, KS; and his good friends Annie Camden and John Flagg Jr. of Athol.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Trainque.
There are no calling hours or services.
