Doris J. (Hovgren) Bittenbender Obituary

ORANGE- After 80 years of giving us much love, patience, courage, support, service, creativity and “discipline”, Doris Jane Hovgren Bittenbender died peacefully on May 26, 2021.

Doris has two sisters, Joanne and Myrna, currently living in Virginia.

Doris and Karl Bittenbender shared a wonderful marriage for 58 years.

Doris was loving mother to Sheri Lynn Aggarwal and Kevin Nels Bittenbender, and Grandmother to Gustave Hovgren Bittenbender, Beatriz Catherine Bittenbender and Georgia Doris Bittenbender.

Doris graduated from Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio.

Doris was member and Financial Secretary with Bethany Lutheran Church, Town Account for the Town of Orange and member of Quabbin Harvest of the North Quabbin Community Cooperative.

Doris was given a natural burial at Wildwood Cemetery in Amherst, MA
