ORANGE- It is with heavy heart to announce the passing of Erik (E Brake) on July 16, 2023.
He was born in Junction City, Kansas to Robyn (Roberta) Cleveland Athol and Scott LaMar Danville, IL. Erik has spent most of his life here in the Athol and Orange area.
He was employed by Get Hooked Towing which he absolutely loved doing. His greatest love was being a hook bitch with the muddy gang.
He also fished every chance he could and hunted in the seasons.
Erik wasn’t known for sitting, always doing something, helping someone.
He is survived by his mother, Robyn, and father, Scott. He also leaves his beautiful children he loved with his whole heart, Alarna LaMar (Athol) and Jesse LaMar (Athol); his granddaughter, Delilah. Also his beautiful girlfriend, Melissa Greene and her son, Nolan; his grandmother, Anita Cleveland (Athol) and his best friend (brother) and his wife, Chad and Katrina Barnes; a half sister, Stefanie Kendall (Washington); aunts and uncles and so, so many friends
There are no calling hours or formal services but there will be a celebration of life on September 10, 2023 from 3- 10 p.m., at the Athol American Legion, corner of Pequoig Ave. and Exchange Street, Athol.
Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is assisting the family.
