Francis C. Rice, III

ATHOL - it is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Francis C. Rice, aged 70, who passed away at home on April 2nd. Frank was a loving father, husband, and friend to everyone who had the pleasure to know him.

He is survived by his mother Phyllis Rice, his sister Mary Rice, his daughter Marissa Rice and many close friends and family.

 He was preceded in death by his wife Chris Rice (Desreuisseau).

Frank was born in Jamaica Plain on December 3rd 1955, where he grew up. He worked at the L.S. Starrett Co. until he retired. Frank enjoyed his retirement by fishing the many local lakes, spending time at home and visiting his friends and family.

There will be no services. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
