FITCHBURG- George David Love, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully after a long illness on May 10, 2025. He was 64 years old.
George's life was marked by his love for the Boston Red Sox, his passion for music, and his remarkable sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him.
George began his career as an insurance adjuster, a role he excelled in until he became disabled. Despite the challenges he faced, George's spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to inspire those around him with his quick wit and infectious laughter.
He is survived by his loving daughter and her husband, Christina and Thiago, and his cherished grandchildren, Valentina and Giovanna. His fiancé, Joanna Costanza. His brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Marlene Love, also mourn his loss, along with his nieces and nephews, Caitlin and David Love, and Crissy and Elizabeth Saucier. George's extended family, including his cousins Christine Fagone, and Jerry, Steph, and Ezra Elfman, will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Barton Love along with his grandparents, Mary and Joseph Mastrangelo of Chelsea, MA.
George's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering strength. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Services will be private.
