Georgia A. (Walker) Kelton

ORANGE- Georgia A Walker Kelton, 71, of Orange, MA, passed away Sept 07, 2023, at her home.

Ms. Kelton was born March 10, 1952, in Athol, MA, to George and Veronica Walker.

She loved gardening, tending to her cat(s), or as she called them, her babies, listening to the Orange Community Band and walking. She enjoyed frequent trips to Boston for various festivals including her favorite, the Boston flower show.

In keeping a promise to her father and wanting to give back, she worked for many years as a “Bell Ringer” for the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her sister Veronica Buzzell, daughter(s); Kelly Walker, Leanne Walker, Julie (Kelton) Stone, and Megan Kelton. Grandchildren,  Kristina Walker, Victoria Ryan, Angie Walker, Harrison Vaughan. Additionally, nieces and nephews  Ryann Buzzell, and Marc Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Kelton, brothers, William A. Smith, Daniel W. Walker, and niece Teresa M.(smith) Blakie.

There will be no calling hours and a private funeral service.

Celebration of Life, September 19, 2023 at 5pm, at the Our Lady Immaculate CCD Center at 925 Main St. Athol, MA 01331

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Athol Salvation Army, 107 Ridge Avenue, Athol, MA 01331, or Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School Street, Athol, MA 01331.
