ATHOL- Honorine “Honey” Beauregard, age 95, of Athol, MA, formerly of Fitchburg, MA and Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully in her home on August 1, 2021 with her daughters by her side.
Born November 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Nasby)Gravelle. She lived in Fitchburg, MA for many years, in Florida for eight years and spent 20 years in Arizona before returning to Massachusetts in 1995.
Her beloved husband of 49 years, Norman W. Beauregard, a retired Fitchburg Police Officer, died in 1996.
Honey worked in the woolen mills and plastic factories in Massachusetts, and for Motorola in Mesa, Arizona. She sang with the Freddie Porter Band in Fitchburg, loved traveling with her husband, spending time with family, and going to bingo and the casino.
Most of all, Honey loved and treasured her family and lived to fulfilling her life. She touched many lives and made friends everywhere she went and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts!
She leaves two daughters, Diane Baker and her husband, Bill Baker, of Orange, and Patricia York of Athol; four grandsons, Derek Bourque of Athol, Chad York of Westminster, Ryan York and his wife, Jennifer, of Athol, and Joshua York of Glendale, AZ; five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah, Avah, Michael, and Braydon; a sister, Eunice Mullins of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Six sisters and brothers predeceased her.
