ATHOL- Jammie P. Brown passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments.
He is survived by his fiancée, Brandi Thompson, and his sisters, Ammie Barnes (Garrett) and Stacy Hartwell (Scott). He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, an uncle, aunts, and many cousins who will cherish his memory.
Jammie graduated from Athol High School in 1990 before continuing his education in Florida. Over the years, he worked in various roles, including positions at Smith & Wesson, Papa Ginos, Burlington Coat Factory, and a few others.
A true car enthusiast, Jammie had a deep love for classic cars and a gift for conversation—he could talk for hours about his passion. He also adored his beloved feline companions, Turbo and Caddie, who were always by his side.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan O’Kane Long, and his father, Paul Brown.
Calling hours will be held on February 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
Jammie will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his stories, laughter, and love for life will never be forgotten.
