Jane H. (Copeland) Pettry

ORANGE- Jane H.(Copeland) Pettry, 69, of East Main Street, died unexpectedly at Athol Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2024 after being stricken ill at home.

Born in Athol on May 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Luella C. (Wheaton) Copeland and grew up in Warwick.

Jane had been employed by MCI Transformers in Orange.

Jane is survived by her long time companion and partner, Eugene “Gene” Bevis of Orange; and several nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by sisters, Karen Escott and Susan Dennis.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at the Orange American Legion, 40 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange.

Interment will be at a later date in Warwick Center Cemetery.
