Jean I. (Hawkins) Hause

ATHOL- Jean I. (Hawkins) Hause, 67, of Morton Meadows, died on September 25, 2024.

Born in Athol on June 29, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Margaret (Stacy) Hawkins and grew up in Athol, graduating from Athol in 1975.

Jean had worked at the L. S. Starrett Co. and later taught English in Athol schools.

Jean was married to James E. Hause who died on September 23, 2004.

She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate in Athol.

Jean enjoyed painting.

Survivors include her son, Michael, of Orange; brothers, Robert Hawkins of Madison, NH and David Hawkins of Dunstable; a sister, Donna Hawkins, of Athol; several nephews and nieces; and several good friends including Cindy Abare, Nancy Lagimoniere and Francis Boudreau..

A calling hour will be held on November 7, 2024 from 6-7 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School Street, Athol.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Athol.
