ORANGE- Jean (Priestley)(Sullivan) Mackey, 85, of West Myrtle Street, died Sunday afternoon, October 24, 2021 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.
Born in Orange on January 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Inez (Stacey) Priestley and grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange High School in 1953.
Jean married Robert Sullivan in 1955. He died in 1972. Jean later married Herbert Mackey and he predeceased her as well in 2013.
Jean worked as an x-ray technician at Athol Memorial Hospital for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her children, Mark J. Sullivan of Orange, Paul G. Sullivan of Holyoke, Todd A. Sullivan of Orange and Troy Mackey of Greenfield. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Scott Sullivan of Petersham, Traci Theide North Carolina, Kelly Burnett of Athol, Chad Sullivan of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Nicholas Sullivan of Athol, Maya Mackey and Layne Mackey, both of Greenfield; several great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Priestley of Orange; several nephews and nieces as well as grandnephews and grandnieces.
There are no calling hours or services.
Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
