SOUTHBRIDGE- Jennifer Marie Prue, 40, of Southbridge, formerly of Athol and Turners Falls, died Saturday, January 18th at Harrington Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born February 12th, 1984, the daughter of the late Scott Prue and Dianna Meehan.
Jennifer possessed a strong-willed, survivor attitude in all she did. Although her determined spirit would sometimes lead her down paths of disappointment, she would always find her way in the world. Even when in great need, she had a kind heart toward those less fortunate.
She was proud to have graduated from Athol-Royalston Regional High School in 2002 and held fond memories of her time spent in the Soul Garden program at Seeds of Solidarity Farm in Orange.
She loved nature, camping and the beauty of the North Quabbin area and Western Massachusetts and she cherished her time there.
She is survived by her beloved son, Lestat Senn, her mother, and her Stepmother, Theresa Prue. She also leaves her siblings Danielle, Tanner, Stephanie and Laura, stepsiblings Chris and Jennifer, her paternal grandmother Lunette Prue, her maternal grandfather David Meehan, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, her paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother. She will also be greatly missed by her bonus family Greg, Nancy, Erica & Gunard.
We wish to thank the Clinicians & Caregivers who showed much kindness during Jennifers illness at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Hartford Hospital in Hartford CT, St. Lukes Guest House in Southbridge, UMass University campus in Worcester and Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts.
