Jeremy J. LeBlanc Obituary

ORANGE- Jeremy J. LeBlanc, 46, of East Main Street, died on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at home after being stricken ill.

Born in Greenfield on April 20, 1979, he was the son of Michael Rathburn and Lisa LeBlanc and grew up in Athol, graduating from Athol High School in 1997.

On July 9, 2004, Jeremy married Catherine (Webster) and he and Cathy enjoyed over 20 years of marriage.

Jeremy was a Residential Counselor at Open Sky and had previously worked for S&S Appliance, Manny’s and Girardi Distributors.

A sports enthusiast, Jeremy especially enjoyed baseball. He also enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards and had quite a movie collection as well. Jeremy enjoyed going to the beach as well as Lake Winnnipesaukee.

Survivors include his loving wife, Catherine LeBlanc; daughters, Julia Ploof of Orange and Kyla St. Louis and her husband Damon, of Belchertown; his mother, Lisa LeBlanc of Athol; his Godmother, Lynn Wesockes of Athol; a half brother, Michael Rathburn of Florida; a half sister, Gina Canfield of Athol; his dog Stella; his cat Leo; and many good friends and extended family.

Besides his father, Jeremy was predeceased by his grandparents, Bernard and Marjorie LeBlanc, Richard Rathburn and Mae Gerry, as well as his Godfather, Steve Morse.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of Jeremy’s life will be celebrated at the Franco-Amercan Club, 592 South Street, Athol, on July 19, 2025 starting at 4 p.m.
