GARDNER- John H. Paul, 68, of Lake Street, died on Thursday evening, March 6, 2025 at Blaire House of Worcester.
Born in Fitchburg on November 6, 1956, he was the son of the late Richard and Eileen (Ahart) Paul and grew up in Petersham, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional in 1974.
In 1988, John married Stella (Dorow), his soul mate who he devoted his life to and enjoyed over 36 years of marriage. Their mutual love for each other was endearing.
John had worked most of his career alongside his father at Progressive Control Environments as a manager and co-owner. He later worked for Pete’s Tire Barns for 11 years.
John was an avid fisherman which included ice fishing as well. He was a golf enthusiast, loved camping, helping with Boy Scouts as well as playing softball with the Sunday morning fun league.
John leaves his beloved wife, Stella Paul, of Gardner; his sons, Richard Shepard and his partner, Shawn, of Palmer and Mark Shepard of Templeton; two grandchildren, Jessica Sweeney and her husband, Tim, and Merrick Shepard; a great granddaughter, Eliza Shiebler, with another on the way; several nephews and nieces; and many friends.
There are no calling hours or services at John’s request.
